This product allows for
interactive free exploration of a first model of the roman city of Aosta on a standard
personal computer. The age is that described by the historian Strabone, of the first
century after Christ. The city had been just founded in the place where Varrone had his
headquarters. The reconstructed area covers the surroundings of the city, the walls and
the internal insulae (blocks). The walls ring was 730 meters by 560, with twelve towers,
an area of 42 hectars was inside, divided in 64 blocks.

A selection of images directly taken from the PC screen, this
digital model is interactively explored in real-time on a standard personal with Pentium
IV 2Ghz, 512Mb RAM and 64Mb video card.
